Truth resides in the heart. A formidable opponent to the mind, indeed. How do we develop an open heart that allows us to live our truth in our lives without succumbing to the mind's games? This is the quest of the spiritual seeker. A seeking that leads us into what we know not. It is a maze, a labyrinth of sorts. As we learn in the labyrinth, we can only go one step at at time. We can easily get off course if hurried by ourselves or others, it is a slowing down as much as it is any other thing. A becoming of less and less-ness. An unraveling into nothing and everything at the same time. This path, this seeking, is not for the faint of heart. It takes a formidable opponent to the mainstream of this life to find our way forward from within the darkened alleys to the light of presence. Do go there alone. Don't get lost along the way.

It is everything and noting at the same time. Yes. I recently became comfortable with traveling into the deep dark forest of life with no map. Only other willing companions without commitment to where we are heading. Only having everything in this moment and, realizing that without any context or promise of where each is heading, I have nothing at all. It is perfect here.
