What is freedom? Is it an experience? A truth? An idea? Perhaps it is all of these and more, and yet what I do know is that true freedom requires us to open our heart and keep it open. In order to do this we must sort through and clear out conditioned responses that make us shut down and stop loving. We can never truly be free if we let others and the world dictate our capacity to love. We don't have to wait for circumstances to be right, for a lover to show up, for our mother to appreciate us once and for all. We can choose to feel the pain that shuts us down and learn to let our heart break open in spite of it thereby opening us more fully to the experience of loving and being loved. This is Freeing The Heart...
